Kylian Mbappe played the hero as Real Madrid came from behind to secure a 3-2 victory over Leganes at the Santiago Bernabeu, pulling level on points with La Liga leaders Barcelona.

The French forward opened the scoring with a penalty in the 32nd minute, but relegation-threatened Leganes quickly responded with a goal from Diego Garcia before Dani Raba’s close-range strike sent the visitors into halftime with a 2-1 lead.
Jude Bellingham equalized for Real Madrid just two minutes after the restart, setting up a tense finish. Despite Leganes’ resilience, Mbappe sealed the win for Los Blancos with a superb curling effort into the bottom corner late in the game.
The victory moves Madrid level with Barcelona, who remain ahead due to their head-to-head advantage from the October Clasico. Barcelona will look to reclaim their lead when they face Girona in a Catalan derby on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are six points behind after a draw with Espanyol earlier in the day, leaving the La Liga title race firmly between the two giants.
