Manchester United are reportedly planning to offload center-back Harry Maguire in the summer to raise funds for the potential signing of Everton’s young defender Jarrad Branthwaite, according to TEAMtalk.
Maguire, now 32, has been on the market for the past two seasons, but his high wages have complicated efforts to sell him. United are eager to secure Branthwaite, 22, but Everton are demanding a fee of over £70 million.
Branthwaite is reportedly interested in a move to Old Trafford, but only if the club qualifies for the Champions League, a target they could still achieve through winning the Europa League.
