The Liverpool superstar is expected to form a formidable attacking partnership with Manchester City’s clinical forward Omar Marmoush. This elite duo will lead Egypt’s charge in Group G, where they face tough group-stage fixtures against Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran.

Ahead of the tournament kickoff on June 15 against Belgium, Hassan will have to trim his squad by exactly one player. Insiders expect a high-profile omission from the goalkeeping department since the coaching staff initially selected four shot-stoppers.

To fine-tune their tactics, the Pharaohs have scheduled two demanding warm-up matches. They are set to clash against Russia on May 28 before travelling to face South American giants Brazil a week later.
