The 2026 FIFA World Cup is fast approaching, and Thomas Tuchel’s England squad is preparing to go all out to secure their first major trophy since 1966.
The Three Lions enter the tournament as one of the heavy favorites, with the ultimate goal of lifting the trophy at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19.
England has been drawn into Group L alongside familiar foes Croatia, Ghana, and Panama, with all group matches taking place across the United States.
The campaign begins on June 17 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington against Croatia, before moving to Foxborough to face Ghana on June 23, and concluding the group stage against Panama on June 27.

Injury concerns remain a talking point, with Morgan Gibbs-White recently sustaining a facial injury during club duty, though he is expected to remain in contention for the final roster.
The team will be based at the Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, serving as their tactical hub while they navigate a tournament expanded to 48 teams for the first time.
