FIFA revealed the financial incentives for the upcoming 2025 Club World Cup, set to take place in June and July across venues in the United States.
The tournament will offer the largest-ever prize fund for a football competition, with a potential payout of $125 million for the champions.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted the event’s significance, stating that all revenues will be distributed to club football globally, without any retention for FIFA or its reserves. In addition to prize money, a $250 million solidarity investment will support football clubs worldwide.
The tournament prize structure begins with $2 million per win and $1 million per draw in the group stage. Teams advancing to the knockout rounds will earn progressively more, with $7.5 million for reaching the round of 16, $13.1 million for the quarterfinals, $21 million for the semifinals, and an extra $40 million for winning the final. Participation incentives range from $3.58 million for teams like Auckland City to $38.19 million for top European clubs.
