Canada announce 26-man squad for 2026 World Cup

The countdown is officially on for the World Cup co-hosts. Canada head coach Jesse Marsch has trimmed his roster down to a final 26-man squad just two weeks ahead of their highly anticipated tournament opener.

Playing on home soil, Les Rouges face a challenging Group B schedule. They kick off their journey in Toronto against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 12, before heading west to Vancouver to wrap up the group stage against Qatar and Switzerland.

Canada will be hoping to claim a result in a World Cup match for the first time, having lost all three group games in 1986 and 2022.
