The victory moved Barcelona three points ahead of Real Madrid.
Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo’s early strikes guided Barcelona to a 3-0 victory over Osasuna, strengthening their lead in La Liga on Thursday.
Despite resting key forwards like Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, Barcelona quickly took control, with Torres netting a close-range effort and Olmo converting a penalty on the second attempt.
“Every match is a final from now on and today wasn’t different. We solved it quickly and soundly and that’s the important thing. Three points and move on,” Torres said.
Lewandowski came off the bench in the second half to score his 23rd goal of the season, sealing a comfortable win for Barcelona.
He said: “I try to make the most of my minutes. I don´t consider myself a super sub. I am prepared to play whenever the coach needs me.”
This victory marked their 19th unbeaten game in 2025 across all competitions.
